Texas Flange is committed to making texasflange.com usable for everyone, including visitors who rely on assistive technologies. We aim for substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility issues as bugs — they get fixed in the same queue as anything else.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy on every page.
- Color contrast tested against WCAG AA on text and interactive elements.
- Keyboard-navigable interface — every interactive control is reachable without a mouse.
- Descriptive alt text on product photos and CAD-drawing thumbnails.
- ARIA landmarks and labels on navigation, search, and form controls.
- Forms with associated labels and clear error messaging.
Known limitations
Some legacy blog posts migrated from our previous WordPress install include third-party embeds and inline images we are still backfilling alt text for. CAD-drawing pages render technical specification tables that are best consumed visually — if you need this data in a different format (CSV, plain text, accessible PDF), please reach out and we'll send it over.
